School keeps me very busy these days. Luckily there are lots of fun things to look forward to over the next month!
The MBA program requires us to take a Leadership and Teamwork class. Our professor has given us all sorts of personality tests to analyze our strengths, weaknesses, and personal leadership styles. I just took the Myers Briggs test. It was spot on, let me tell you. Here are some of the best quotes from my analysis:
"Providers love to entertain, and are always concerned about the needs of their guests"
"In a word, Providers are gregarious, so much so that they can become restless when isolated from people."
"Family traditions are also sacred to them, and they carefully observe birthdays and anniversaries."
"Loving and affectionate themselves, they need to be loved in return."
"Their sense of right and wrong wrestles with an overwhelming rescuing, 'mothering' drive."
As far as weaknesses go, this test definitely called me out!
"As caretakers, ESFJs sense danger all around--germs within, the elements without, unscrupulous malefactors, insidious character flaws. "
"Providers are extremely sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes them perhaps the most sympathetic of all the types, but which also leaves them somewhat self-conscious, that is, highly sensitive to what others think of them. "
Have you ever taken a test like this? Did you learn anything new about your personality type? Things like this fascinate me. I love learning about how people work and think and feel.
On another note, I'm really looking forward to the next month. Despite the end of summer, which I dread so much, I have a fantastic month ahead of me! Here are a few things I'm looking forward to:
