This weekend, Chris and I headed to south county to our friends' 100 acre farm. We celebrated my friend Bryan's birthday and shot some clays. They had an awesome automatic clay thrower that launched them out over the pond.
Once we practiced a bit, we played an elimination game to see who was the best shot. I brought the rifle my dad got for me when I was little, and Geoff loved it. We went over all the safety rules several times, and by the end, he was a pretty good shot!
After the afternoon outdoor festivities, we retreated indoors for some food and drink. I wish I had taken pictures of all of the food. We feasted!
Have you ever gone shooting? It's pretty exhilarating to hit your mark, not to mention therapeutic!
If you haven't gone, would you ever consider it?
I grew up going, so it's second nature to me. However, I know a lot of people who are really uncomfortable with the idea.
